The Strategy of Organic Farming Implementation through Waste Bio-Conversion in Developing Baran Edu-Tourism Kampung, Malang, Indonesia

To increase the economic resilience due to Covid-19 pandemic and raise environmental quality, it is important conduct a community-based development program based on an integrated strategy. This study aimed formulate Kampung Baran Edu-tourism strategies, was one of Madura Pendalungan's urban-periphery settlements in Malang City. First, (local) characteristics terraphilia paradigms were identified. The contain local potentials their problems. At second stage, we used SWOT analysis identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats strategies develop edu-tourism. organic Integrated Farming concept chosen as model. It started from organic-fertilizer production through waste bio-conversion (we chose vermicompost liquid fertilizer). implementation organic-waste should be conducted mentoring, counseling, innovators coaching, FGDs enrich people's knowledge about modern farming, strengthen social participation, socio-economic institutions, networks.
